    Hi,

As a relatively new osCommerce user, I am finding SEO for my site a nightmare, Well at least in Google anyway. Yahoo is a different beast and I rank on page one for all of my chosen keyword/phrases.
But Google on the other hand wants backlinks, and quality relevant ones at that! It also wants to know that I’m for the long haul, which I am, but I cant register my domain name for any longer than 2 years max. I think Google hates ecommerce with a passion unless you are a huge site, You need information first and the sales may follow, but then I suppose everybody has to start somewhere!

    Hi Paul,

Content is of course very important for Google, and all other search engines. That is why we recommend new approach when content is mixed with products. We recommend creating specific pages for certain product groups where the pages of an Ecommerce web site have both meaningful keyword rich content and links to products or product groups.

Let us know if you’d like us to help you with SEO and PPC Campaign management - we would be glad to provide a quotation.

    Best regards,
    Vadym Gurevych
