DataLink UK Ltd presents its products and services at Mamut Partner Summit 08
On May the 20th, 2008 DataLink UK Ltd among a few selected providers presented its products and services at Mamut Partner Summit 08 in Manchester, UK.
DataLink UK presented two of its products for Mamut:
Web DataLink for Mamut Business Software (Office and Enterprise versions) and
Web CrossLink for Mamut Business Software
Both products were welcomed by Mamut partners and resellers and raised a lot of interest among the participants.
The 2 days long event took place in Bewleys Hotel at the Manchester Airport.
As many of the participants might have expected it was dedicated to one main topic - new version of Mamut Business Software. Its 12th version is about to be released, and Mamut customers and resellers look forward to it! One of the most important improvements compared to all previous released is the database engine, which is now MS SQL. Being backed up by this powerful database engine, Mamut Business Software can handle larger arrays of data, will become more robust and even more reliable.
Integration with MBS might also become easier because of the new DB engine and updates of Mamut API.
New features of the new version include certain updates in the Ecommerce part of MBS. Though we suspect most of MBS customers who run advanced Ecommerce solutions wont be switching over to Mamut Ecommerce in near future. Mamut Business Software will become even more web-enabled in the new version. “Software as a Service” is one of the goals for Mamut Development team for the future.
We also hope to see Mamut coming in more European countries soon and will be informing our readers about progress there. As of May 2008 DataLink UK’s international team offers its services to English, German and Spanish - speaking customers, so we very much look forward to Mamut’s further European progress.
As Mamut has recently purchased MYOB Business Division in the UK, DataLink UK expects a number of MYOB software users to express their interest in migrating to Mamut Business Software solutions. We would be glad to help with our Web CrossLink for Mamut Business Software that can migrate orders, customer accounts, product catalogues and other data from MYOB to Mamut.
